When Shawn and I began dreaming up ideas for RRT, Shawn would often go home, pencils, markers, and crayons ready, his imagination fired up to create some of the creatures and characters our twisted minds had come up with during our braindstorming sessions. Some of the art was brilliant! Others turned out like the one to the right, which he coerced me to post today by offering me leftover Chinese food he discovered in the refrigerator over the weekend. I told him I would post it, but only if he gets me some real art to post next time around, and only if that comes with leftover chimichangas.

Enjoy the zombie. There’s plenty of them to come in the days ahead.

By the way, orange zombie is appropriate seeing as the leftover Chinese was orange beef, I’ve been drinking orange juice all day, and tomorrow Shawn is bringing me leftover crepes with orange syrup that his wife made for a cousin’s birthday. No joke! I never knew that the last day of June is National Orange day.  So go out to your local grocery store and say hello to an orange. You’ll be glad you did.
