My fiancee’s son Jacob decided to help me out creating last night’s RRT, so I let him color the skull on Chompy’s shirt (so long as I got to pick the color).  Later on he requested that he get credit for his work of art, so this is just to let the world know that today’s comic was created by all three of us: Shawn, Isaac, and Jacob.

In other news, Shawn and I just got back from WorldCon.  While we were there we chatted with the creators of Girl Genius.  They signed our books and also gave some good advice about succeeding in the world of web comics.  Girl Genius is beautifully illustrated and well-written, so I would suggest checking it out.

Our trip to WorldCon was made possible because of my friends Janci and Drew, who let us crash at Drew’s parents’ house and who drove us the whole way there and back.  Here’s a tip o’the old hat to you two!  Incidentally, Janci and Drew run a business painting minis over at Garden Ninja.  These are some of the most-beautiful minis I’ve ever seen.  In addition to painting them, Drew also does a fair amount of sculpting and is quite good at it.
